How can I defeat enemies faster or complete quests more efficiently?

Most quests require smart resource management and knowing which upgrades to prioritize. 

In the Lab specifically, it’s very important to keep upgrading **Dr. Brain**. 

Since your character is reduced in size when entering the Lab—significantly weakening your stats—Dr. Brain upgrades help reduce this debuff and make progress much easier.
