How do I protect myself from making an accidental purchase?

In order to prevent accidental purchases follow the steps below:

Google Play

1. Open the Google Play app .

2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.

3. Tap Settings → Purchase verification → Verification frequency.

4. Choose a setting.

5. Confirm the change.

App Store

You can require a password for every purchase or require a password every 15 minutes.

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Tap your name.

3. Tap Media & Purchases.

4. Tap Password Settings, then choose the setting you want.
