Transferring your game progress to a new device is easy!
Follow the steps below based on your platform to ensure you keep your progress intact while switching to a new device.
App Store
To transfer your game progress to a new device, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to the same iCloud account on both devices. On your current device, go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud and ensure iCloud is enabled. Repeat this step on the new device.
2. Open the game on your new device and check if your progress has successfully transferred.
3. If you no longer plan to use your old device for playing, disable iCloud on the old device to prevent any sync issues in the future.
* Make sure you don’t play the game on both devices simultaneously to avoid data loss.
Play Store
To successfully transfer your game progress, make sure your Google account is connected to Google Play on both your old and new devices. Follow these steps:
1. On your old device, verify that your Google account is connected to Google Play:
- Open your device's Settings.
- Scroll down and select Google.
- Choose Settings for Google Apps.
- Select Play Games and check if your account is listed.
- Also, make sure Alien Invasion is listed under connected apps.
2. On your new device, sign in to the same Google account used on your old device, then download and install the game from the Google Play Store.
3. Open the game on your new device and check if your progress is properly synced.
* Make sure you don’t play the game on both devices simultaneously to avoid data loss.
